Over an 82 game season Buch would be on pace For 19 goals and 47 points. Not bad for a rookie. Fast has a career high 10 goals and 6 were empty netters. Fast is on pace for 26 points 7 goals over an 82 game season. If your argument was Fast should be playing over Buch on the 4th line you wouldn't get an argument out of me. But as for who should be in the top 9? Not even a discussion.
- nyrangers9479

Can you two stop trying to annoy each other long enough to realize you both want Buch in the top 9 and Fast on the 4th line?

Not to often I agree with you haha. I love fast and has to play but 4th line is it for him, I don't get it why he's on the 3rd line. And before any one jumps down my throat why he should play at all, look at who saved tying goal vs Minnesota in the last minute last week. That's why he has to play

I love Fast, if he is only playing on the 4th line. Or if he is inserted at the end of a game to protect a 1 goal game. Vesey should be playing with Hayes and Grabs.
- mdw7413

Agree with your Fast assessment. He is the prototypical 4th liner.
But I want Miller/Hayes/Grabs back together, almost as much as RD wants NSync back together

Yeah either or. Put Vesey back with Nash and move Miller back down with Hayes.

Like I said the other day, I really hope these lines aren't what AV is planning for the playoffs, and he is just tinkering.

You should really take up these grievances with AV and Gorton at your next meeting.

Tom just tries to annoy everyone even if he agrees. He's fake news.

Watch them go out and sweep the west coast cause that how maddening they are, we still need 7 points to clinch, I don't see us getting 100 points so we're probably gonna back in playing bad losing hockey like last season and get bounced, laughed basically rinse and repeat

What about moving Hayes up to play with Kreider and Zucc and Stepan with Grabner and x? I think Hayes is more skilled than Stepan but still gives Stepan guys that can produce, maybe take the pressure off him a bit.

Not trying to start the Daily Stepan Update again but he has 1 goal in his last 29 games. Gives Hayes a chance with Kreider and Zucc and put Stepan on the "3rd line" with Grabner and Buch/Vesey.

Does the 59 posts he's hit mean anything or nah? Can we at least agree he's visible and getting chances? And as pissed as people are at him, I'd pretty much guarentee no one is more pissed about him then himself. You see it and hear it all the time on the ice

i think he should play with Nash and Vesey/Buch. Zib with zucc and krieder

Snake bites don't usually last this long, he's been dwarfed production wise by Lindberg in terms of per 60, I don't have much faith in him, he's never reached his potential because he doesn't work hard enough at crafting his game, look what Hayes did in the offseason, he made his own bed

They should call up Koho, Sherwood, or whoever they get sticks from and get a whole new batch. The whole team, every player. Burn all the old ones

I've had my issues with Stepan during his career, but this year, I'm with TJ. He is doing everything right and couldn't buy a goal. That line is doing everything but putting the puck in.

I've never seen a player have this prolonged a slump while getting grade A chances, he has no ability to beat a player 1 on 1 because of obviously his lack of speed and 2 his ability, win or lose we need to get rid of his contract before that clause kicks in
