He probably realized that it wasn't the best move for his self-esteem to hang out here...

I wonder how much longer it will take Dan to realize it?

Love that they're winning all these games now that it doesn't (frank)ing mean anything.

yup.
Typical of teams out of the race to do that.
Leafs used to do it all the time.
Be out of it then win like 20 in a row to end the season and miss the playoffs by 4 points.

In this case, they cut out a ton of vets and are in basically the same spot they were last year.

Call it progress and move along.

Perfect. As a 4th liner and PKer, that's exactly what he's supposed to be.
- hscesq

What the frank do they expect from a 4th liner? I don't get it. They play 6 to 7 minutes a night, maybe.

I think the situation of the first line or Galchenyuk is more interesting and important.

It may be important, but it's far from interesting.

If you look at his stats from 2-3 seasons ago he wasn't really a 4th liner. I just hoped he'd contribute more than he does.

Jeff Skinner - Derek Ryan - Lee Stempniak
Joakim Nordstrom - Victor Rask - Patrick Brown

Noah Hanifin - Justin Faulk
Jaccob Slavin - Ryan Murphy
Klas Dahlbeck - Brett Pesce

Eddie Lack gets the start.

If you look at the lines, he's been on the 4th one for all but one game with the Habs. Pin your hopes elsewhere. He contributes what a 4th liner and PKer is supposed to contribute.
