Didn't you want the Leafs to trade for Tyson Barrie? He's probably going to be cheap now with three more years at $5.5 mil and sitting at -30. Colorado would probably eat some salary and give Leafs a pick to unload him.

Gardiner has no hockey sense, ya he's improved....but he drives me nuts.
Brown's a decent player, agreed. I like him.
But Trouba could a be a real gem.

As I said, I was just tossing poop together. Substitute Kap for brown.

you guys need to watch more jets games....Trouba looks great....so I doubt the Jets move him....but just spit balling.

I agree. I don't like Gardiner. There's nothing he can do that'll make me like him (poor thing ), but he's definitely useful if we have 3 other top 4 D.

Personally I just don't want us to be that team that gives Winnipeg what they would want for Trouba.

I've watched the Avs play recently.

It's kinda sad to watch. About half the team obviously doesn't care anymore.

Matt Duchene will get traded in the summer guaranteed. He obviously wants to leave Colorado and not look back.

(frank) that noise. I'm hugely critical of Gardiner but the guy is proving me wrong and I'll happily have him as a 2nd paring dman with a defensively responsible dman.

Brown is a gem. Won't get the accolades that the big 3 get, but he's a guy you win with. Fast, good PK'er, good forechecker, great hockey IQ. Great 3rd line winger, 2nd line if you have an injury.

I'd much rather keep the 3 of Gardiner, Brown and a prospect than have Trouba.

With some luck he'll be a UFA in a few years and teams can all throw the moon at him.
