We'll settle for wiping the floor with the Habs and their putrid poopty forwards in the playoffs. Looking through the Habs lineup not sure but looks like at least 5 of their regular fowards would be fourth liners on the Marlies.

I'd sign Shattenkirk (Leafs won't need any cap money anytime soon), then Lou will take care of him when he's not needed, trade JVR in the summer for an Anaheim dman, then draft Foote.

Been saying this for a while,alzner, that's the free agent I'd target probably 5.8×6 that would bring him to 34ish years old ,and I think he hasn't missed many games in the last 5 years, then a trade with Anaheim, and hopefully one of the young guys in the AHL, could be ready?3 new dman should do the trick?

Augello is correct... the competition aren't keeping up with the pace and the Toronto Maple Leafs continue to do the unthinkable, and work their way into the playoffs....
