With 10 games left to go, there's still a lot at stake.

For instance, if the 'Vantel method' (looking at the standings) is applied correctly, we could conceivably accumulate more points then Winnipeg or Dallas, thus proving beyond a reasonable doubt that our long-term building process is ahead of them by years. Roster players and prospects be dammed.

Last 10 games opponents r not an easy go of it.

Coming out as the one of the best of the bottom 5 teams will not be easy, but we can do it and we deserve it.

Lets show the league that we are miles ahead of Winnipeg, Dallas and Arizona, not to mention those other anchors out east.

2-3 wins r reasonable to expect but with this rag tag bunch its anyones guess.

Assuming the TBL miss the PO's i can see a deal out there to get their 1st.
Could we entertain getting their 1st at prolly 12-15th?
They need a top D & prolly salary dump & we could accommodate them.
Allows us to maybe get Foote or Pettersen or a few others in that pick range.

Fiddle faddle . What we really want to know is the roster for the next game

No. The Canucks are going on a winning streak to piss off all of the Tambir's.

No no, now that the Leafs have more wins then us, their strategy can now be viewed as successful, as dictated by the Vantel methodology (i.e, the day to day standings).

Danny quest for 1000....

87 Paul Kariya..........989
88 Rick Middleton......988
89 Dave Keon...........986
90 Daniel Sedin.........982

I think a fair goal for the end of the seaosn would be to beat Keon. MIddleton would be gravy and Kariya... well... he would need to go on a tear that we have not seen all season.

I wonder if they both would have retired at the end of this season if Danny made it this year.

Anyone know when they will announce the lotto draw date? Will it be end of April or there abouts? Just so we can get this draft talk in focus. Plus put to bed the tank talk for at least until next season.

He will get there soon enough.

Personally I kinda like to see them break this record before they retire:

"The Sedins combined on goals for the 703rd and 704th times, second only to Wayne Gretzky and Jari Kurri, who did it 764 times."

If your numbers and mine are most recent. Daniel has only scored 278 points where Henrik wasnt also in on it. Kinda shocking how high/low those numbers are

They won't break it. I don't see them combining on another 60 goals between this season and next.
