Some on the Van thread want him to go toe to toe with Chara. Chara's dad was an olympic wrestler and if I recall was really good at it. I for one would love to see it.

For all my smack talk I am happy for Van that a couple of their late rounders/NCAA signings are looking good. Also that guys like Bear and Granny are working out. Helps the rebuild go faster.

Although not the greatest year to be shooting for the lottery.

Agreed, they see size and assume Chara-esque toughness, but he strikes me more as a Hamilton/Myers type. Big frame, uses his reach, but not out there to scrap

LOL, I had no clue who that was without the power of google... good god, he had 314 PIMS in 42 games in 2015/16 in the EIHL... that's more than 7/game, how is that even possible?!?
