Whats up with Hank? We want the first wildcard spot Flu?

- nyisles7

He hurt himself doing the splits a few games ago. I'm pretty sure he is back on the ice though and skating.

Rangers at home and add on its against you guys, pretty much 99% guarantee loss. Pretty amazing how brutal they have been at home this year.

really.. two games and we know whats going on.. ho -sang has made mistakes and he went right back on the ice and that's the difference between cappy and weight. barzal was never given a fair shot.was he ready?? probably not.. but damn I would have loved to see him play top six minutes for 5 or six games. cappy did not know how to develop top six forwards

1. BOOM!

2. And that's Snow's fault for his loyalty towards the coach. Not the roster moves, which by the way can still pan out if given the right analytics coach(Eakins, Dineen).

Yes they are usually strong at the Garden, hasn't been the case this year.

I think Halak has had the rags number here in the past couple of years so he's down at BP helping the Sound Tigers get a PO birth so that might make a difference.

Yeah, and Beauvillier would've started over Quine last Thursday. Oh wait a minute....
- bgainesDM

I do not have an issue if Beau needs to sit for a game or so. It's not like multiple games like it was with Cappy.

Greiss for the Isles is also 2-0 against NYR as well. Just throwing it out there.

Unless he's hurt or making countless blunders, you play him every chance you get.

And their fans thought trading Hall for Larsson was stupid. Not gonna trust their opinions on this either.

His skill is there, but he lacked discipline at the time. The Caps game is a reference. Back then, no he wasn't ready regardless of the ice time. We see what Ho-Sang was able to do right out of the gate and only last game did he make a couple of blunders. Barzal did it right from the start. If I was the coach, that would stick to me. First impressions matter. You gotta have discipline in your game.
- bgainesDM

OK this whole statement is wrong. Wow he took a bad penalty and then played it out of the box so he should be sent back? How many bone head penalties does strome take? Tavares? Ho-sang played 3/4 of year in ahl where he made mistakes and was scratched a few times. He was given and chance to play at the pro level and learn form his mistakes. Also ho-sang is 20 so he could play in ahl and bazal is 19. Finally discipline in your game? Have you watched this team in their own end? There's absolutely no discipline anywhere in fact cappy let these guys play in a country club. Barzal was never given a chance by cappy who by the way is the same coach that when players were called up he sat in the box 3 games to practice and learn the system.

There's about five posts on this thread I'm trying not to respond to. You responded to one of them the other four are just as ridiculous. Restraint, restraint.

I agree that Cappy shouldn't have made him sit in the press box. I'm simply saying Barzal shouldn't have made the team yet and gotten more playing time in the juniors followed by AHL. When did I defend Cappy here? lol
Ho-Sang was brought up to the NHL when he was ready was he not?

I believe the point is that nobody ever really got the chance to see if Barzal was truly NHL ready or not. He got limited minutes in 2 games.

4-2 Isles.

I have spoken to my Lord of Larsson and he hath assured me (but his humble servant) that the ass kicking the Rangers shall receive is not this number, but a number more just.

Praise be unto him.

That Cappy wouldn't play him suggests to me that Barzal could very well be a top 6 forward.
