It's right at the top of the stairs at gate 3. You need a suite ticket and a reservation.

Isn't that the Air Canada Club? The one where you can view the game - behind the Leafs' net, just above the reds?

Or is the Hot Stove Club somewhere else?

Thanks!

It's pretty funny because I'm trying to figure out if they do a urine test.. I'm calling their office but I don't want to come out and ask.. So I asked them what can I do to prepare for the physical? Lol.. I hate that I'm so close but at the same time I might already be (frank)ed.. it pays good so I really want this job.

If it's just weed you're worried about I wouldn't sweat it unless you're a serious chronic. They can only detect metabolic byproducts of consumption and those will vary greatly depending on amount of consumption. Don't blaze from now until the physical. Hydrate a ton the night before and again in the morning of the test. Don't give them your first piss of the day as the cannabinoids will be more concentrated early in the morning having not pissed for so long.

They're only like 30ft apart. Hot Stove is immediately at the top of the stairs on the right, AC Club is on the left in the hallway (and is the one overlooking the ice). Then the platinum club is down in the basement.

Yeah well.. I don't know if I classify as a serious chronic.. I haven't really smoked any in the last 3 days and I have 5 days til my physical.. I know it will show up if I have to piss. I'm just not sure if A) the even test, and B) if they do test do they even care about weed.. I know some places here have a 50mg standard and others are a 20mg test.. either way if they test me it'll show up.

Good to know. I've only been to the Air Canada Club a few times, and it's always been from just walking across the 200 level hallway. Never eaten there, though: just grabbed drinks (including after the game of the first game at the ACC - my brother and I ended up drinking with Todd Warriner's dad - Todd scored the first ever goal at the ACC. Yeah, really, really random fact).

Have you ever been to the Hot Stove? Judging by the reservations page, it looks like anyone with a valid ticket can get in.

I was lucky enough to play some hockey up in Wendel's barn with him and Tucker just before he sold it. Afterwards we came down to the ACC, had dinner at the Hot Stove (it's the menu you would expect at e11even pretty much) and then watched the game.

Maybe I was wrong on the suite tickets but I didn't think you could wander up to the suites level without a ticket. Now that I think about it though they do have hostesses that are a little further in towards the suites so I guess you could get to the HS no problem with any ticket.

If you have to piss it doesn't necessarily mean you are being drug tested. Could be checking protein and hormones for health reasons. Not sure what kind of job you're applying for. Good luck either way.

The Datsyuk/Marner comparison is insane. NO way Marner who is not a C is Datsyuk nor a perennial Selke candidate nor has to play a 200' game that a C has to play. Wingers have it easy compared to top C. We all show our homerness but c'mon.

so what you are saying in your own ridiculous fashion is that comparing Laine to Matthews is dumb because Laine isn't a center and therefore plays a less demanding position?

FACT:
After Datsyuk, Marner is the first player to arrive to NHL that has a similar creativity level AND has impressive defensive awareness/skills.

idk

datsyuk is underrated. i would put him as the best 2-way C in the last long-while. ahead of toews, bergeron and kopitar.

datsyuk was unbelievably strong on the puck in traffic. magic mitch creates space dancing away from people, but matthews maneuvers in the middle of traffic and more often than not comes away with loose pucks... reminds me more of datsyuk in that sense.

No, that argument can only be used when going against a Leaf not with a Leaf

It'll be a tough game tonight folks. Heard it here first. I am the only person with access to the standings apparently.
