Murray is feeling more heat then Bylsma as of now.

That just seems a little backwards to me.

Thanks 89.

This isn't a dig or anything like that but I'm surprised by how many people are surprised that kulikov didn't work out. Nothing outside of a short stint with Aaron ekblad would suggest that he's nothing more than a low end 2nd/high end 3rd pair guy.
- Sabresfan-365

That makes it a fair trade then, as far as the principals go (I know there were picks exchanged too).

The rub comes in the upside.

he brought in gorges, bogo, franson and kulikov

could be he is lacking the eye for true talent on d men

- homiedclown

Whiffed on the D and hired the wrong coach for this group of forwards...not good.

For me it's expectations. The value aside, he brought kulikov in as the only addition and actually believed he a)found a partner for ristolainen and b) thought it was playoff worthy. That's fireable.

Agreed. Obviously the extent to which he was disastrous this year couldn't have been predicted. But never once thought we landed our partner for 55
- sbroads24

It was predictable when they told everyone he was playing top pairing minutes and will Lower ristolainens minutes

Murray made moves, Murray hired the coach, Murray set the goals. It's on him. Don't believe that crap about Pegula not wanted to fire Bylsma because he would still have to pay him. They should keep a firetruck on standby after the offseason in case Pegula explodes.

I have on hand, usually 4 12 packs of different types of sierra

1 sweetwater 12 pack

1 18 pack of rolling rock cans for emergency

- homiedclown

solid supply...I usually have 4-6pks of Bells Hopslam (which slowly decreases), 4-5 bomber sized bottles of local beers (mostly dipas and bourbon barrel stouts), the Genny cream ale and usually 2 mixed 6 packs

Murray has made bad trades no question but I believe that Pegula hired Bylsma or at the very least heavily influenced Murray. I see the problem more as a coaching issue and forcing players into a system that doesn't work. They both should be in trouble and one could understand the concern with Murray's next trade.

Apparently you have better hockey mind than many other people who thought we won the trade.

https://thepuckunderthesu...tion-kulikov-pysyk-trade/ (Florida blogger hates trade) [PS he's a a 13 year old kid and a 8th year Panther fan so maybe you do have a better hockey mind).

http://thehockeywriters.c...v-deal-defensive-upgrade/ (neutral writer says Asplund tips the deal in our favor)

https://twointhebox.com/2...im-murrays-trade-history/ (gives the trade a "B" grade)

If Pegs forced the hire, I wouldn't think Murray would want another year of Bylsma, or even 2 months of it into next year.
