Certain players need to save their seasons now, Stepan obviously but Ziba outside of a couple of OT goals isn't producing, had a money wrap around chance last night where he just needed to get it off the ice, Lindberg is out playing them per 60 and it's not close, Kreider I don't think will reach 30 since he's bone dry now, Hayes and Miller have dried up, better not be another same old season end - KreiderBomb
If John Tavares wants to Join the Rangers, stop the rebuild and go get him. - tomburton99
Oh, I'm on board with that. Love Tavares. I have no idea how he doesn't get more love around the league. I just love the chance to needle Chiefs just about as much.

That just means the NYR are getting him DIRT cheap this off season when they resign him.
This is a good thing. It would be a bad thing if they were losing and he was playing bad. When they are winning and he is not producing, its good for the organization because A) they get him cheap B) he will have something to prove next year and will be fighting for future contract leverage

There's no place for your logic and reason around here, buddy!
Jan, I have to inquire - you are not happy with 29 goals for in 12 games (2.42/gm), but you're ok with giving up 32 (2.67/gm)?
I agree, we want to score north of 2.5 per game, but this team has made an identity out of being stingy on what they allow the opposition. I am more alarmed by giving up that many. And I think you alluded to a big part of that in your piece about the PK. What is it now, a power-play goal against in 7 straight games? For my money, special teams are where the focus needs to be down the stretch.
And playoff success or not, I'd say it's time to grab the torches and pitchforks and head over to Arniel's house! That is a change that needs to happen. - Tonybere
More alarmed by PK, because if that gets cleaned up, the goals alowed per game will drop. So only happy with that amount because I think the number is skewed. hybPPGvallowed

The thing with rangers, especially this year, is they don't count on one or two guys offensively. Years past it was always one guy (like Gaborik or more recently Nash) and if they didn't score they didn't stand a chance. Every forward on the roster currently, is capable of scoring a goal...solid depth and everyone contributes. Sure guys have slumps like we're seeing but we don't have the mcdavids or crosbys to lean on. A lot of fans I think do that, expect more from certain players (pts wise) and say they're having a bad year. Mika has underachieved tho, but I still think the leg thing maybe scares him off a bit or shies away from things. He was doing pretty well before that. Stepan obviously has been a name bombarded by the fans ire, but he just hasn't had the puck go in. I can't think of another player that's had more scoring chances in the last 2-3 weeks. Also, the first half I think they may have overachieved as team offensively and now it's coming back to earth somehwhat, they were scoring at a ridiculous clip then

Maybe. Was nice seeing him get that one last night. I didn't see the 1st or 2nd period (listened), but if him and the team can play like they did in the 3rd, they'll be pretty hard to beat

Yeah, Stepan and Nash just need some puck luck. The save Schneider made on Hayes in OT was crazy
Yup, that's what made me look this one up - MiloslavHorava
Just spent WAY to long looking for the one with the Jamaican guy who listens to his family's answers for a fruit starting with the letter "A", then answers "I have to go out on me own, Ray. Aaarrange!" Can't believe it's not on Youtube.
