1. I'm still trying to figure that out.
2. Is it though? I the argument is fighting is entertaining, which is sometimes the case, but I'd rather have a young guy who still may turn into a quality 4th line player getting more NHL experience.
3. My main source of frustration right now is Auvitu is still in Albany. It makes no sense. The guy is probably the 3rd best defenseman on the NHL roster, yet he's stuck in the minors. If you sit Moore (I agree that unfortunately Lovejoy is the new Salvador/Gionta and probably isn't going anywhere unless he gets taken in the expansion draft) Auvitu should be the next guy up. - CaptCrankypants
Normally I'd completely agree we're better off with a player then a fighter. For the Ranger game I'd like to go down swinging.
Good point on Auvitu. At this point of the season you'd think they want to look at him, Mozik and maybe Loov to see if these guys can play in the NHL.
I saw these guys in Springfield on Sunday. |

But you want them to win tonight in order to have a better shot at, Vilardi, Hirscher, Patrick or Liljegren. - tomburton99

Vegas picks 3rd no matter what. They would pick 4th. Mittlestadt will still be at 4 but I still think Tippet would be the best option. We need a top 6 right winger, as well, as a top C, but Mittlestadt is committed to University of Minnesota. I would hate it if he goes the Vesey route. Also, I think Tippet fits our mold of what Shero wants. Fast and skilled. - NaNa04
Vegas has third place odds, not the 3rd overall pick. they can pick anywhere from 1-6. Also who ever we draft in the top 3(if we get top 3) will sign an entry level deal within a couple weeks of being drafted. I highly doubt the vesey route would even be an option for mittelstadt. My biggest concern would be if he wanted to do a santini and stay in college for all 4 years. I dont want a guy that we cant use for 4 years, especially a top 3 pick at that |

Just because they played well in juniors together doesn't mean they'll play well in the pros. Or play together even. I'm not going to complain if they take Tippett, but I think finding a good #1 center should be a higher priority. I think outside of Patrick and Hischier Mittelstadt is the most dynamic player. - CaptCrankypants
First of all if this is the draft we try to find a #1 center, we either trade our first and maybe one of our 2nds to swap for either hischier or Patrick. If its not either of them, were not drafting a true #1 center from this draft(there not even considered to be legit top line centers either). With Mcleod in the system, as well as rico, zajac, speers, we dont need anymore 2nd-4th line center depth. However we lack so much on the right side and Tippetts an elite shot RW that would easily slide into that 2nd line RW slot behind palms. Tbh i'd be okay with either but unless its Patrick or hischier i dont think were drafting that #1 center, and i dont think we should draft in hopes of finding that hidden gem center. Tippett is a proven scorer with an elite shot and would easily fall into the line up nicely. Plus that chemistry with Mcleod is a positive attribute aswell |

Yo Krazy,if you could get St. Louis 1st # 15 and their other first from the Caps pick 31 for Corey would you do it? I know it's a weak draft but 3 ones would be a solid pickup. ??? |

Yes. Draft positioning doesn't occur until they are knocked out then they go by points, which I think is stupid. |

Sorry it's now 3-1 Sudbury in the 2nd. Mississauga C Mike McLeod (NJD) extended his goal streak to 4 games, and scored 10 in last 11 |

His younger brother is allegedly the prospect with the higher ceiling, he is draft eligible in 2018. |

Not at all I give them a lot of credit. They could just lay down for the rest of the year but obviously their not so good for them |
