I'm reminded of another team that played the game the right way. It was the Philadelphia Phillies, helmed by one of the all time great sports minds, Charlie Manuel. It was the last game of the regular season against the Braves. And because they played the game the right way, they pulled out all the stops to win said game and let the St Louis Cardinals into the playoffs and matched up with them the first round.

Whether the phillies ultimately won or lost was not important. At least they played the game the right way.
