IF Giroux and Jake can play MUCH better this lineup could work. If not, they will be I same spot next year
I would also like to see Weal and Sanheim get a shot. Sanheim may have passed Morin

IMO they WILL be in the same spot next year. Things won't be changing that drastic, just like the defensive prospects aren't becoming all-stars over night.

EDIT: I believe Morin needs to at least get some games in with the big club next year. Going through the past 15 years, not many defensive prospects make the NHL taking longer than 4 years from being drafted to play their first game.

I have been impressed with Jordan Weal, even though I wasn't a fan previously. I think they need to give that kid a legitimate chance to be a late bloomer.

I have been too. good speed and has been surprisingly good on the boards. I'm hoping they re-sign him

Your probably right they will be in the same spot next year however, if Grioux and Voracek play up to standard this team would not be where they are. Best players have to be that and these guys have not. This management team should not be happy to end up in the same spot next year. You can't have a 20 year rookie being your best player on a team with this payroll... If you do... You end up on the outside looking in. Therefore changes should be made to the core

I feel you are advising for a lot more sit-ups in practice.
