He is not flashy, hes not the fastest doesn't have the hardest shot, he's not silky smooth like Eric Karlson, hes not tough and powerful like Burns, etc...

So the question I feel like Dundee is asking is this:
Is he truly a #1 Dman, or is he just the NYR's #1 DMan because he is just the best of what we have

If...as in not likely to happen... a NYR/LA trade would be a blockbuster. Something like sending Miller, Stepan and maybe Skjei or a high end pick while taking back Doughty and the Albatross that is Dustin Brown.
