LA has a sub 20% chance of making the playoffs while Calgary has about a 95% chance of making it. I disagree with your model.

Especially the way Calgary has played in the past two months...I just laugh because they will make the playoffs uncontestedly and make noise in the playoffs. Just keep an eye on them.

Certainly not a Calgary fan, but it's hard to understand a prediction that shows LA making the playoffs and Calgary missing it.

Unless Nashville tanks completely, LA would need to win nearly every game - along with Edmonton or Calgary lose the remainder of the season in regular time.

These projections don't even make sense - statistically or otherwise. Perhaps just set up a link to http://www.sportsclubstats.com/NHL.html

They seem to have some actual knowledge, math and statistics in their calculations...

I completely agree with your logic. Hopefully we see them Oilers in the first round in Calgary
