1) Saturday. Not that it matters because the outcomes was an OTL or SOL but, I honestly never knew possession negated offside (even though he didn't have possession ) . As someone who has played every year for nearly 25 years, I honestly thought if you skated into the zone backwards with the puck it was still offside. Is this one of those "only in the majors" type rules?

2) Chicago's one against COL the next night was even worse

I think it's a pretty dumb rule. It should be the puck has to cross before the players. No exceptions
