Buch was playing with Nash for a few games and looked just as bad.

He is in a rut, but in the big scheme of things this year, he isn't terribly important to the team success.

I just think people need to be rational here and look at whats is best for the team, not get their panties in a twist because a rookie had a good start and has been pretty awful the rest of the year.

this is the worst people have been when it comes to being rationale about this team I have ever seen. EVER.

they just had 3 days off
- jimbro83

Ya we have some back to backs coming up including today and tomorrow, if they gave someone 2 days they'd have a week break. Makes a big difference when dealing with an injury as opposed to 3 days.

they'll probably be some lineup differences tomorrow

this theory that this game is meaningless tonight so why not play around with the lineup is laughable

people will jump out of windows tonight if they lose like any other night

Imagine the Rangers had a forward who's played 67 games and didn't score yet like SHEAHAN

Mdw I'm sorry but this idea that Buch has been "pretty awful" this year except for his good start is crazy lol. When he's been healthy he's been jerked around the lineup more than anyone. I'm not going crazy over the glass thing cause I think tg has been good but av has not had a good year with Buchs development. And before anyone jumps down my throat I realize the team is more important that anyone's development... doesn't change the fact

I think both Buchnevich and Vesey need to work their asses off this summer and will

I expect a lot more from both next year

Agree to disagree. If you think Buch has been good this whole year, you might want to take off the Rangers goggles.

Nah, I called out Vesey when he was absolutely awful too.
I would love nothing more than to have Buch and Vesey playing 1st/2nd line minutes, but neither deserves it right now.

Where is he supposed to play? You stunt his development on the 4th line as it is. He's played when the spot has opened up. AV has played him with various players, linemates, etc. Never had an issue with anything you've said lol but your nit picking this one brah. Sorry. I'd give him an incomplete over anything like awful so I agree there. He got hurt which is the only thing that stunted his growth/development. I like not rushing players, especially Russians because they are a little cookoo sometimes, I think they've (the org) handled Buch very well this year

Well thats it, who has Buch played better than in the top 9?

Stepan, Kreider, Zib, Zuke, Hayes, Grabner, Nash, Hayes, Miller

Which one deserves to lose their spot to a very inconsistent rookie, who lets be honest, needs to work on his play away from the puck.

I don't know why I added centers.. but I'm rolling with it

Hayes has been very good this year, and a hell of a surprise on the PK. Don't know why Arniel(I'm assuming Arniel does all special teams) split up him and Miller..

They had at least 1 grade a scoring chance during the PK

The only debate really is, Vesey or buch...and which player is a better fit in the top 9. Niether is a better fit then Glass on the 4th line, which is crazy to think, but it's true. Like Jimmy said, AV has roles for guys and generally teams have roles for 4th liners, these two kids don't fit that 4th line role whatsoever. They've been invisible in that spot when they've played there
