Did anyone watch Schenn's post game interview? It was hard to watch. He's gotta have more confidence talking to these reporters and beat writers. He came across like a kid who didn't do his homework and the teacher is calling him out in front of the class. I get that he's young and I do feel bad for him but he looked like he was getting bullied.

Jagr started to have differences with Lavy over usage. He had an extension offer in Jan 2012 he dragged his feet on for months. Then he elected to sign in Dallas.

Also, Voracek was ready to move up in the lineup, as he showed over the next several seasons. That had been Jagr's spot, and Lavy was moving him into it in 2nd half of 2011-12.

Watching the Phantoms now and Sanheim has been pretty stellar this game. One of the first few games he's got to play LD, always at RD next to Morin usually. I really don't like projecting him on the right in the NHL, even if the versatility is good. Mentioned this months ago. He's so much better on the left and it opens his game up more offensively. As long as Ghost is at RD, and he does fine at it, Sanheim can play LD. That's what I want to see anyway.

Goaltending has been subpar too in recent weeks. They still have way too much talent to choke it away even with a few guys missing, but I think that Gordon-Cote are truly horrendous doofuses so who knows. I believe Hagg and Leier are getting healthier. But they've always been a team that gets by solely on talent.

Penguins farm team is still above them and routinely dominates them head to head, and they're not more talented, especially on the backend it's not close. Guentzel their best player was called up too a while ago. Penguins team just runs a system like their pro team -- unlike the Phantoms who seem to still emulate the Berube era in style -- and their coaching is good and has always been good. Phantoms always feel like they're walking a fine line, even when doing well. I still see them making it, tough as it is.
