Irrelevant.
- flyer_nutter

No it's very relevant if you're going to make that kind of statement. Just like when you claim the Flyers gunna flyer, but have no real suggestion on what they should do.

So that they can make a big deal out of every time they cook their own food? Like it's a big deal these guys can cook pasta and a chicken breast that I have to see it during every player profile.

There should be a 10 hour special on MacDonald's beet recipes.

The irrelevant was in reference to you actually.

It's not by a wide margin that there are more D prospects at the moment if they picked at their current spot.

Maxime Comtois is one worth keeping an eye on as a forward.........has ability to play all the forward spots and adapt his game to what's needed

Nikita Popugaev is another worth keeping an eye on

Great. By the time I stop sticking an extra "i" in Rubstov when I pronounce it I'll have to figure out how to say one of these dude's last name.

Today's fun fact for Team Negative:

Crosby has more goals than Giroux, Couturier, Filppula, and PEB combined.

I don't have Pop even in my first round and don't think much of him. And Comtois, though I do like him a ton as a 200 ft solid hockey player, in the 20s. I've seen Comtois a lot. If he ends up a 20/20 versatile glue guy, I think that is his type of potential. Useful, safe, a terrific middle 6 winger or bottom 6 center, but he has a questionable ceiling. I mean if he was there at 40, sure, but at 10-11? Holy smokes, no. And he won't be there at 40.

Can we trade them for Crosby if we throw in Vandevelde.

As I said ~10.....Pettersson, Glass, Necas are my favorites. And they could all go before then, maybe Pettersson top 5. It's possible, probably in that order of likeliness. I like Vilardi a bunch, but if we had to trade up for him, but could stay tight and get one of those 3, I'd stay tight. Gap isn't big, if there's even a gap. Mittelstadt is the other forward in the top 5 or 10 range, but he's a winger if that matters, and I'm not sure I view him as on some different tier either. We don't get any of them? Tolvanen or Andersson would be a nice consolation prize. I have Yamamoto ranked with them, but he won't go there (that's why I'd trade up for him in a heartbeat with our 2nd).

Using our 2nd, at either ~40 or with a trade up, I'd love to get one of these guys: Yamamoto, Robert Thomas, Alexei Lipanov, Jason Robertson, Anderson-Dolan. There's others, but those are my favorites, and I have all in my first round. I'd trade up back into the late 1st for the first two because you'd have to, I gather. I have Yamamoto right now around top 10, and Thomas top 15-16, so I would absolutely love to use all those 3rds to trade up. Depth is sound; add oomph.

Easily.

Wages should be capped in this century. No reason for such disparity b/w poor and rich.
