nolan patrick isn't the number one pick anymore guys
- Flyers Time

Was just looking at a mock that has us taking Eeli Tolvanen. Finnish LW who appears to be one hell of a sniper from his highlight vids. I'd be pretty ok with that.

For all that time PEB is on the ice not collecting points. What is he the 2nd to worst point per minute player over the last couple years or something? He is a -1.

Sounds like a Hurricane.

Suzuki in the first and Yamamoto in the second for us. Time for a new direction.

God forbid add an elite talent like Yamamoto who is not 6'3". Whatever would we do with another small Konecny type!

Besides I see more D in the projected Flyers draft spot as of right now than forwards

What id say, is players allowed to have a 300,000$ a year salary max.

Owners something similar after expenses.

No reason for these guys to be making such money in the state the world is in.

- flyer_nutter

Who are you to say whose is worth what money? How can you tell an owner you can only make X. The owners are their own worse enemy. If they sign a player to a contract honor that contract.
Perhaps player contracts should be more heavily performance based. Base salary of x with the chance to earn y.

Easily.

Wages should be capped in this century. No reason for such disparity b/w poor and rich.

Price will likely be very high as it's not too deep for top end talent

I don't see that at all. There's Liljegrin/Makar/Heiskanen and all could be gone before us. Liljegrin has had a tough year and I know some worry about his mental processing. Makar is uber skilled, but a 5'11" offensive dynamo (out of the AJHL yet) seems an odd fit and a real gamble of a pick. That's not Hextall. Heiskanen is nice, but he seems the most sure thing and steadiest, so it's hard to see him not going high.

Then it's a steep drop for defense, though like some Valimaki. Where we are picking all I see are forwards. Even if one of those 3 defensemen are there, I still think there will be as good or better forwards. Need and BPA are matching up well I think.

I don't want Suzuki with our 1st, but trading back up late 1st for Yamamoto with our 2nd and plethora of 3rds would be awesome. He's the only one I do that for.

Who decides how it is capped and for how much? Do you know why NHL players and owners make the amount of money they do?

It's not by a wide margin that there are more D prospects at the moment if they picked at their current spot.

Maxime Comtois is one worth keeping an eye on as a forward.........has ability to play all the forward spots and adapt his game to what's needed

Nikita Popugaev is another worth keeping an eye on

So that they can make a big deal out of every time they cook their own food? Like it's a big deal these guys can cook pasta and a chicken breast that I have to see it during every player profile.

The last thing this team needs is Brayden Schenn 2.0

Popugaev is so meh
