At this point in the year, the way things are going, a Penguins and Devils game back to back feels like a speedball with only the negative side effects

A Penguins team coming off a long western road trip missing 6 regulars, and a Devils team on a 10 game losing streak is a brutal back to back. It would take a Hurculean effort to compete.

lol, serious, their fans are awful. Chris Christie complained about how Phillies fans treat Mets fans. Clearly he's never been to a Devils game sporting a Flyers logo.

But the tickets were free, so, why not?

i actually never had an issue there. place was usually half empty and the people that were there were mostly older folks/people with their families.

i do see your point, but it was at least a pens/devils game.

i'll hear more wearing pens stuff to a flyers/random team game. although that's largely to be expected. there are a few lines that shouldn't be crossed but hearing poop is basically an assumed risk.

I've always wanted to experience Montreal during a playoff run. That would be an amazing atmosphere.

i can imagine. I had a buddy who went to McGill and he said everything basically shuts down. Would probably be an amazing atmosphere.

True, I just like to point out the fact that Flyers/Philadelphia fans haven't cornered the market on boorish behavior.

not at all. that narrative is so played out. people suck. add alcohol to individuals of any city prone to douchebaggery, and its gonna happen.

i do think as a visiting fan wearing other teams' apparel you do open yourself up to a certain degree of it, but there are certain levels that things just shouldn't cross regardless of circumstance.

Jets games get pretty intense.

I've only been to two (when Flyers were in town) but was a pretty great atmosphere. Small building so it gets pretty noisy.

Happy to see jake off the first pp unit with Provorov replacing him. To me he has been the weak link on that line.

Was rushed to the hospital after my heart went nuts....

Sitting here wondering if they should prescribe flyers games to patients who need to relax and sleep

Sounds like a Hurricane.

Suzuki in the first and Yamamoto in the second for us. Time for a new direction.
