The god awful, terrible, slow as dirt Sean Couturier is -2.
- J35Bacher

Couturier isn't out there as much during PP and EN situations

Since their playoff changes are below 1% as of this afternoon, I'd love to see them bring up Morin for a cup of coffee, but I read somewhere (don't remember where) that Hextall wants to keep the Phantoms somewhat intact for an imminent playoff run.....something I don't think has happened for the Phantoms in quite some time.
- johndewar

All the kids need to stay and fight for their AHL playoff lives....very tough stretch coming.
This will give them some needed playoff intensity hockey learning how to close out a series.
Don't just bring him up so he can be on this sinking team...he needs to be part of something down there like winning a series or two...

As long as he uses that crazy Captain Jack voice, I'm all over it.

He's not a wife beater, that was trumped up during the divorce hearings. From Amber Heard: "There was never any intent of physical or emotional harm." Once she got her money, her tune changed.

I know he stops at children's hospitals unannounced as Jack Sparrow to cheer them up, which is pretty awesome.

I also know he spends money like there's no tomorrow.

And just an fyi....it was a joke to change the topic from how horrible the Flyers are. I would never have sex with Johnny Depp. I'm a Brad Pitt guy.

Who's excited about possibly getting Mike Vecchione when his college season is over? He could join the Phantoms on an ATO as soon as his college season ends.

http://www.eliteprospects...m/player.php?player=98845

He's 24 so his ELC would only be for one year, starting in 17-18.

You're right. The lack of evidence that police found on her after her claims of abuse were falsified and the outright denial of any sort of violence between the women who'd been with him for decades are all lies.

(frank)ing Christ. I know spousal abuse and rape are serious issues, but I hate that any woman can cry rape or abuse against a well-off man and he becomes scumbag #1 instantly.

Just another prospect.

Be like getting Drake Caggulia last season.

Seems like a guy who can play anywhere in your lineup. Adds speed.

That's where I'm at. He would probably help the Phantoms in the playoffs this season, but it would be a longshot that he turns into a productive NHLer.

Even Drake was more exciting since his big season came at age 21, not 23.

I mean I like him. Seems like he has good skills. But it's not like your getting a top flight guy. Almost reminds me of Matt Read a little.

I agree. I know you believe that Kane raped that woman even though all evidence leads to it being a lie. But sure, let's just make these guys out to be scumbags and villify them before any evidence is presented.

I don't know that he did. But the guy's verified history makes me certain he's not a nice person and does leave me suspicious of other allegations.

No, it's all men's fault. When my dad's best friend got his door broken down and arrested by cops because his ex-wife said that he sexually assaulted their daughter, even though he didn't, he totally deserved it. Because whatever a scorned woman says is always true and all men are piles of poop.

Dude's an bumhole and not a very nice person.

Being an bumhole doesn't automatically make you a rapist simply because someone says you are. I'm not saying 100% she was lying, but from the bits that I've read, it's more likely that he didn't do it.

But sure, he's a man, and he doesn't seem like a saint, so let's just assume that whatever anyone says about him is true without any credible evidence.

21 goals in 14-15.

If you take away Schenn power play points he sits at 5 goals and 13 assists. Now it's not fair to stop those points but I did and I enjoyed it.

- MikesPillBottle

Brayden Schenn is a joke! A joke I say!

It's like arguing with J Jonah Jameson. Forget that Schenn is on top of the entire league above any other player in league in Power Play goals, with Simmonds as second, with the PP struggling.

A joke! A joke I say!!

“Obviously, we got to do a little bit better,” coach Dave Hakstol said, “but no it’s not a change in personnel.”
