Wait until you get drawn against them and lose 12-0 over two games...

Ok, I manned up and looked at the standings. Leafs still 'control their destiny' - meaning they're not dependent on out-of-town scoreboards.
Win tomorrow puts them back into the wildcard spot

He is what I dont get.. MLSE is bad cuz they charge too much, Scalpers are bad because they charge too much.

What is supposed to happen in a market where demand far outweighs the supply?

Every ticket can be sold at a fair price.. but who get them? we all want them.

Part of the blame can be on the person paying 5x original price

- senstroll

But to seriously answer your question, as someone who has been a season seat holder for over 20 years, you will forgive me for enjoying the tix in these good times. I deserve it.

The problem is the guys who simply sell 100% of their tickets - but there is no realistic solution.

James Tanner recommends you rent Leafs tickets instead.
- Atomic Wedgie

Hey I expect to lose in the quarters but at least we got there. That's something Arsenal hasn't been able to say since 2010

you certainly do

I dont see any decent solution. If you have lots lots of money to burn, you get to do cool stuff

Which is when your team (which wasn't your team at that point you bastard ) was playing two leagues below the Premier league

Still watched them when they were in last

but, I get your point. why the hell are you partially defending Arsenal? I thought we could both get behind a little Arsenal hate

Im not saying MLSE charges too much....I just found the reason for their recent increase funny.
I could care less what scalpers or whoever charge. I've never paid over face value for any leaf ticket in my life. I only pay face value. So it doesn't affect me.

This is a myth.

Ticket prices have rarely been raised over the past decade - and very slowly.

There is now a huge discrepency between what I pay and what the man ket price actually is.

Although that has changed significantly in a year - there were games late last year where I had trouble giving tickets away.

- Atomic Wedgie

Not huge for all seats.
upper season seats about $80 as part of some season ticket packages. Single tickets for the same seats vary from 115 - 140 on the secondary market.
Lower bowl average is about $205 box office upwards of $250 for the same seats.
Now if you went through a scalper or 3rd party company, the prices increase even more.
Again, it was the reason that I found funny...it was expected the leafs would raise prices once Matthews put on the uniform.

Wouldn't it be great if both the Bruins and the Leafs missed the playoffs and I could rip on you both?

Its gonna be up and down like this the rest of the way.
Unless Boston, Isles and Tampa stay on fire....then the leafs wont be able to stick with them

Tampa will make the playoffs. Nothing can stop Hedman/Kucherov/Vasilevsky the way they're playing.

It's weird, but despite the playoff teams in the Metropolitan Division being a bajillion ponts above the Atlantic, only Pittsburgh scares me.

Washington chokes. It's what they do.

Something missing about the Rangers.

Until Columbus does something, they haven't done anything.

To me, the dark horse in the East is Ottawa. They just seem like they have a certain somethin'-somethin'.

8-4-1 seems to be what the stats guys say they need to accomplish to get in. I don't like their chances but god I hope I'm wrong.

The team I want to avoid: Tampa Bay.

The Team I'd rather face: Boston.

I feel like we are chasing Boston for 3rd, rather than jockeying to get the final wildcard.

As you can see by my avatar, I'm not optimistic.
