There's a reason these guys never got drafted

Vesey & Schultz are different
They're college players who were drafted fairly high,
and just chose not to sign

Aston-Reese is in the same category as Bayreuther, Cagguilla, Casey Nelson & Ruhwedel imo
All might end up being ok depth NHLers

I'm talking about the fact that they proved they can win or contend before they locked 50 million into their core long term.

Of course it's doable, but what's the point if you can't contend for a cup ?

Providence's season ended Saturday, why the delay in signing Anthony Florentino? it seems he could be a good depth signing. He plays a strong defensive game and can chip in on the offense.

I've noticed ever since the Sabres announced the issue with the Amerks and the city of Rochester, they've really ramped up their advertising and promotions. Albeit weak, it's noticeable.
