Hey. Maybe Auston Matthews will wake up before his total disappearance hits 13 games again.

Sorry to criticize the golden child, but this periodic disappearing act where he appears completely disinterested for weeks at a time is a little annoying. I hope he grows out of it.

When he doesn't score, he's not getting scored against.

He didn't disappear last time, he still had chances like usual. This time he looks slow and isn't winning battles anymore. Either tired or hurt would be my guess.

Yes, last time he was getting lots of chances. This time nothing. Would be nice if Babs put someone else beside Hyman on his wing... imo

I would like to say that, but he has been mostly invisible and looks like he is skating in mud. He honestly looks sick, injured, or tired or a total lack of effort.

This is almost exactly how he looked when he had his long rough patch. When he is on, he has lot more energy and looks like a totally different player.

Earlier in the season he had that goalless streak but I thought he was playing great, they just weren't going in. He might be a little tired now but dont be surprised if he has some more big games.
