I think you should look to see Andersson in tomorrow night. Just a hunch but I'm pretty smart... |

Looks like the Wideman curse could be alive and well:
"Johnny Gaudreau fined $2000 for diving/embellishment."

That was definitely a dive. I'm ok with the fine. He doesn't help his case when he chirps the ref anytime he doesn't get a call. |

I had mentioned earlier this season that I thought Fernand had more to his game, and should be on a top line !and a couple of Edmonton fans were laughing and so on ,well I'm glad he's taking advantage of this opportunity! He can score, hit, fight, and is still young, still learning! What not to like! Good luck the rest of the way, and hopefully you meet the oilers in the playoffs, you shut down mcdavid you shut down the oilers! |

Good, I got no time for that poop. If he wants calls to go his way this is not the way to do it. |

Well can't argue with this. I can argue about the smart thing though. |

Janko starting to heat up again in Stockton, 6g 2a last 5 games - Redmile247
If Bennett doesn't work out, Janko would be a great 3C next yr.
Worried about Stone. Really changed this team, depending on how they finish, may be the best pickup in the league this year.
Interesting tidbit, THN put CAL at 2 in their power rankings. Before the game yesterday, and just behind CHI. If they keep this up, guess I can't argue. Feels....dirty, wrong almost. Want teams to underestimate them in the playoffs.
Also, good! |

I think it's a combination of Elliott playing better, Ferland excelling on the top line, Chiasson being in the proper spot, wideman not being in the lineup, and Brodie having an adequate partner

Like someone else said, is it Stone or is it taking Wideman out ? IMO, they should play Rass tomorrow and not play Wideman again. Ever ! He's done. |

As a Center, it very much is an if.
It is almost time to shift him to the wing and let Janko do his thing. Depending on any injuries that may be a nice plan for the playoffs.
Having both on the ice would be interesting, and may give Bennett a boost. Say what you will but Janko has been properly developed and patient. In a perfect world SB would have spent a year in the A. |

I agree on Widedog but maybe give some credit to Stone. |

Looking at our past draft it's very impressive the players they selected
Tkachuk is self explanatory
Parsons looks very good this year
Dube was great for Canada and has 46 points in 35 games for Kelowna
Adam fox was also great at the juniors and has 32 points in 26 games at Harvard
Mathew Phillips is small but has 86 pints and 47 goals for Victoria this year
With the young talent we have in Calgary and Stockton they can afford to be patient with these guys and or start trading prospects for upgrades soon |

Dude is either going to be the truth, or be an AHLer(unlikely). If his development pays off and he is the next Otto...Im just really excited to see. Have Bennett slide to the wing. They are gonna be perennial contenders.
If there is an injury, let it happen this year. Assuming goaltending holds and Stone is back, they can withstand an injury. If not, I hope to see it next year.
All about the cleanup! |

I feel like everyone outside of Calgary has written him off so I just treat him as a bonus if he turns into anything the flames can use
