Guys I take full 100% responsibility for that goal. I was just texting my buddy that although I think Eklund is a joke, I do however enjoy Dans blogs and the group of guys on here that post on these isles blogs. And as I did so I told him recently when we win everyone unleashes bouncing tatas, and that I need to hurry up and get on over here for the victory. I got ahead of myself boys, and for that I apologize.

Brought to us by Ladd. 19 goals with a bad back and no first line time. Ladd may need another 7 year deal.

I'm pretty sure Weight has told his team this same statement about giving up goals in the final 90 seconds, and yet, here we are again lmao.

Wow I have to say if you ever want to talk about Hockey Gods and puck luck, I think the hole team stepped in a pile of shat getting off the bus tonight.
Happy they are winning but they can't play like this and expect success. One game good the next not so good.

Thought experiment:

Let's say I was was to take your most valuable possessions and put them on the curb outside of you house. Then when some people try to take them away I stopped them and put everything back - am I hero or an bumhole?

You're an bumhole.

I would start Berube against the Blues. That would give Griess 3 days off and then have him go back to back against Carolina

Who were JT's linemates towards the 2nd half of the 2014-15 season and allowed JT to be the runner-up for the Art Ross including nomination for Hart memorial?
Hint: It wasn't Kyle Okposo

- bgainesDM

So what you're saying is, JT didn't do anything until the 2nd half of the 14-15 season. Obviously you think Bailey is better than JT. Bails is having a career year, that's for sure and I'm happy for him. It's about time he did something. But to think he's the reason that JT is having a good year is asinine. Here's a few stats for you:
Bailey's career in points - 25, 35, 28, 32, 19(lockout), 38, 41, 32, 49(through 66 games). Total of 299 pts. over 623 games. 33.22 avg pts/season. .479 avg pts/game.
JT's career in points - 54, 67, 81, 47(lockout), 66 (injured, 59 games), 86, 70, 57(through 66 games). Total of 528 pts. over 576 games. 66 avg. pts/season. .916 avg pts/game.
This will be (assuming Bailey will hit 50) his first 50 point season. That's good, but JT has had 50+ point seasons every year except the lockout-shortened season.
Very simply put, JT is the reason Bailey is having a career year. Not the other way around. Now, if you want to say that JT is a defensive liability, then I won't argue that one iota. He is. I believe that JT is always trying to do too much because he's always had to. Which sometimes ends up in a bad turnover. Like last night. This team didn't have any talent several years ago. It was JT & no one else. Bailey is just as much a defensive liability as JT since he doesn't play defense at all unless he coughs it up and has to cover his own ass. He made a great defensive play last night. However, if he dumped it into the corner or didn't hand it over, he wouldn't have been in that position. I'll give credit where it's due and I'll critique where it's due.

I have a hard time agreeing or disagreeing with you. Just have a bad feeling that if Berube starts, he's going to get shelled and Greiss will end up coming in anyway. But you have to give him a night off here and there.

If they can leave Griess in while giving up 7 goals they can let Berube stay in as well

That's true. If only the Isles had a good goalie playing in the AHL that they could call up to be Greiss's back up. You know, someone who has experience as a #1 that can be real good when he plays. Then they could waive that Berube clown. But, since they don't have anyone.......
