I think the league needs a contraction instead of an expansion. A contraction of 2 teams dumps 40+ players back into the talent pool, making the league more skilled in this year and all subsequent years.
I'm not concerned about inflating scoring to attract people that never were fans, you get fans from grass roots programs, people who grew up enjoying the game. There are great 1-0 games and great 5-4 games, There are great hard hitting games, as well. If the game is exciting the number of goals scored doesn't matter - MiloslavHorava
you know what's not exciting? waiting 10 minutes to see if a gorgeous goal is going to be called back because 45 seconds before the goal some player had his skate up at the blueline |

You're right. Ten minutes is way too long. If they can't tell in the first 2-3 minutes, call it inconclusive and stand by the call on the ice.
However, the player who had his skate up at the blueline, (frank)ing well knows what he needs to do to be onside. It's his fault, not the linesman. |

here's what I'd do
a goal needs to be scored within 15 seconds of one of these offside reviews
if a goal is scored 15 seconds or more after the missed offside, it's not reviewable

Yeah, my gf was like "ok, wtf are we watching?"
I just don't understand why he gave the money to those two rapists and brought them to the bus station. I was hoping he was gonna put a bullet in each of them |

Oh I see, not sure about that. I would imagine the NHL wouldn't allow it but I'm honestly not sure.
I also don't think that any team is going to acquire 50% of a multi-year cap hit in exchange for a 1st round pick unless it was like a top-3 pick in a strong year.
If I'm ARI, in that scenario, I'm telling you to fork over Buchnevich and a the NYR 1st if you think I'm going to pay half of a contract you regret. - eichiefs9
Oh I wasn't trying to make it even, just was giving a simple example. I'm sure if you could do it, the Hawks would have tried it already.
I'm a sucker for interesting CAP/CBA moves like the Filppula deal. |

The film runs out of steam in the last act. I really think Abel Ferrera was on drugs when he made that.
The girls scene & when he shoots the radio when the Dodgers lose is too much & he tries to stash the coke on himself at the scene of a crime & he gets caught.
Oh yea & when he's drunk w the liquor bottle in hand, crying...full frontal was a bit much. |

Or....maybe I misunderstood your comment! - Tonybere
Or that
Either way. I'm fine with the rule itself, but I hate the hour long review. Limit the review time, at the very least. I'd be fine with a maximum of two minutes. If you can't figure it out after watching the same 3 or 4 angles for two minutes then it's inconclusive as far as I'm concerned. Leave a provision for a third minute, issued/approved by the war room in Toronto (NOT the refs), in extreme cases where some additional time is needed. After that, too bad. |

That and when he tells the store owner to go to the station and fill out a report and he stills the money at gun point from the guys who just robbed it. - mdw7413

Did u hear Stepan hasn't had a goal in 21 games? |

no mention of how Kampfer played. I actually thought he played pretty well. Had some good shots, didnt look out of place defensively. is it a coincidence that the guy that has been playing hockey(albeit in the AHL) looked better than Clendening who has been on the bench the majority of the season?
It doesnt really matter though as neither of these 2 will get a sniff of the ice come playoff time, assuming no injuries.
I hate Glass, but i have to admit, he did add some energy to the team. at the very least he causes his teammates to have to play tougher or else look soft.
