11 shots. Which can be OK for a period, but when you're up 3 after 20, you should go for the throat……and also not take 3 penalties.
Penalties usually occour to defensive lapses….which usually occour when a team tries to play defense and doesnt do a good job.

I just dont like the philosophy that we're actually going to be able to defend against the penguins for 40 more minutes. keep doing what you did in the first and you probably have a better chance of winning than the 40 minutes of defense plan. The second sealed our fate…..and its pretty common for the Sabres. And no slight against the pens, they won the cup last year. But they can be beat. As evidenced in the first.
