I didn't mention that, obviously would have liked to see him bury that but not the easiest play. If we can get that Schenn-Val-Jake line going and it balances out the bottom 6 I think we can get in to the playoffs. Obviously goal tending has to do their part as well which I'm not too sure of.

This isn't an answer. You're telling me if Giroux, Voracek or Simmonds were traded and the coach asked them to play on the PP right away, they should decline?
- SuperSchennBros

That's not at all what I said. Of course they wouldn't decline, because they, too, are professionals and do what the coach wants them to do. But I'll guess that they, like Filppula, would like some time to talk to the staff and coaches and get some practices in with their new team before playing a game. You said that there is no need for that. A quote from a guy in that exact situation shows otherwise. Unfortunately they don't always get that luxury so they deal with it as professionals, as Filppula mentioned.

That's all I was showing. It's simple.

I'm sorry, did I pick a fight with you this morning?

lol You think this is a fight? Cute. Fights aren't allowed here, junior.

So what was Filppula suppose to say if he was offered PP time?

If Filppula gets offered PP time and he takes it, he's doing it because he's a professional. If he declines, he's doing it because he's a professional.

Right, thanks.

You never answered my original question. What was he suppose to say? I asked five times.

I did answer your question. Here, I'll show you, and break it down for you.

He would prefer it. That's fine but what is he suppose to say if he was called upon to play on the PP right away? "No, it's too soon?"
- SuperSchennBros

Your question: should he say "no" to PP time?

That would be silly, son.
- Scoob

With this I intended to convey to you that it would be silly for him to say "no," therefore implying that he would say "yes."

Why?
- SuperSchennBros

You want to know why I think it would be silly to say no.

Because he's a professional.

Do you really not understand this stuff or are you just being juvenile?

- Scoob

With this I intended to convey to you that as he is a professional ice hockey player he would of course do what the coach asks him to do.

This isn't an answer. You're telling me if Giroux, Voracek or Simmonds were traded and the coach asked them to play on the PP right away, they should decline?

I'm sorry, did I pick a fight with you this morning? It's always everyone else, isn't it??

- SuperSchennBros

With this comment you convey clearly that you did not understand my previous answers.

That's not at all what I said. Of course they wouldn't decline, because they, too, are professionals and do what the coach wants them to do. But I'll guess that they, like Filppula, would like some time to talk to the staff and coaches and get some practices in with their new team before playing a game. So with this reply I again tried to convey to you that a professional ice hockey player would do what the coach asks.

So what was Filppula suppose to say if he was offered PP time?
- SuperSchennBros

Again, clearly conveying that you still don't understand my words.

If Filppula gets offered PP time and he takes it, he's doing it because he's a professional. If he declines, he's doing it because he's a professional.

Right, thanks.

- SuperSchennBros

"Coots" looked like poo last night. He had that one time to bury the biscuit, and yes...the puck was jumping, but c'mon stone hands, make frigin contact with the puck when you're on the doorstep.

I don't understand the love affair with "toothy" either. SMH

Captain G with another "hustling" game. Dude, just take yourself out of the lineup and admit that you're injured or worse, have no more passion.

I can never decide which Foghorn Leghornism is my favorite.
