If he gets a real 1st line center today, which I doubt very much, I'll understand where he is going. But for a guy who decided to go all-in last summer, the only solid bold move he did was signing Radulov. I'm curious to see what will happen today. - Not_Yan
Yup. The Ott move on its own is (frank)ing pointless, no way he gives them any better of a chance than before. I think we're all expecting disappointment this afternoon, and we're going to get it. Where's the Bergevin getting 4th line grinders gif? |

You may want to take a look at the (frank)ing market. What is he supposed to do? First line centre? Lol. |

like fredo said it's just a warm body laying around who has been through the grind and can step in and play 7-8 minutes and not do anything to kill you. |

We'll be happy to have Ott once Bergydeal send Flynn for a 2nd and Mitchell for a 3rd and Ghetto for a 4th. |

I guess Filpulla is what we expected out of Plekanec at the begining of the season. |

I don't expect a first line center, trading for them is almost impossible and Montreal hass bigger needs anyway. A top 6 winger is potentially doable however. |

True. And I just took a look at the depth charts around the league. No good centres available aside of Duchene, me thinks. The best we can hope for today is a good 2nd line winger à la Vanek.

agree. and i would be very happy with Vanek. we know Bergevin will be aggressive and that's why he cleared out DD's salary. i don't think he traded Desharnais for the sake of trading him. |

I would take Spezza if they take Plekanec back the other way in the deal. |
