Was he someone who thought TVR was meant to be a true #4? I know that's where he got slotted last year due to depth issues, but TVR is a solid, if unremarkable 3rd pair guy. He's better playing low-event hockey, but he can jump into the the rush if need be and will be rewarded for the latter on occasion. Smarter than he is skilled, probably.

If the Swedes (Hammer, Oduya and Kruger) are 100% healthy and ready to go by April 1st, I like the Hawks chances. In other words if Kruger can get his wrist or hand or whatever it is that is injured back to 100% - then he is our PK faceoff guy.
