Wow. They must not be as high on Beaulieu as I've been lead to believe.

Thanks Tommy, Element and others for the kind words.

Source told me just now they are dangling Desjardins, Kruger and maybe a prospect for a lower line add. "Have not heard Ott's name. Yet."

- John Jaeckel

Thanks for the update JJ. Solid info as always.

Anything on Hansen from Vancouver?

So the Wild went 4-0 vs the Jets this year and Hawks have been what 0-4. Those are points I bet the Hawks wish they had come away with.

Ott? He's a C with near 58% FO this year. $800K contract expiring this year.

More
#mnwild survive after blowing 3-goal lead....88 points, more than last year's 87...15-1-1 last 17 road games.
Easy as pie

Must be a really good lower line add to give up all that, cap considerations notwithstanding

Things change so fast in Montreal. It doesn't seem that long ago that the local media was slotting him as that old useless bastard Markov's replacement. Now he needs to go.

I mean part of it could be Therrien being such a bad coach but his shot impacts are awful.

The Hawks went 1-4 against the Jets - beat them the last time finally like two and half weeks ago.

Always liked him. My apologies for the spelling. I always appreciated and liked Kris Draper's play, and what he did for the Wings.

That's a lot of cleared cap space. Much, much more than you'd need for Ott at $800K AAV. And wouldn't you need a C back if you don't have Kruger?

Was he someone who thought TVR was meant to be a true #4? I know that's where he got slotted last year due to depth issues, but TVR is a solid, if unremarkable 3rd pair guy. He's better playing low-event hockey, but he can jump into the the rush if need be and will be rewarded for the latter on occasion. Smarter than he is skilled, probably.

I dont think JJ is suggesting they are trading all of that for Ott. He says they are dangling those players to try to add.

Pizzaman's back! , that is a Deeeep Defense , let's see who are the 6, Seabrooke, Keith, Hjalmersson, Oduya, Campbell, TVR. Once the playoffs start Rosy will be spotted in there, where does that leave Kempny?
Next move is Iginla, and he'll play with Toews and Panik.

They need to bring Fedorov back over to be the GM.
