He is a loser. - mrpaulish
Agree to disagree.
But should you see him hoisting the cup in an Indian sweater in the middle of June this year, I want you to take it back. |

Yes Ott wins face-offs and is an agitator but his play fell off a cliff since leaving Buffalo. - TommyHawk
LOL yeah other than FOs he is useless so imo because I don't put much weight in FOs he is completely useless. |

I still want a 3C that can win face offs. Not sure who, or how....but I'd love to see a lineup like this:
STP
PAK
Hartman-3C-Hossa
Kruger-Kero-Hinostroza/Jurco
Desjardins
Keith-Seabs
Oduya-Hammer
Kempny/TVR-Campbell
Rozsival
Crawford/Darling
Now THAT is definitely Cup worthy. |

That Jackass had his chance couple of years ago to come here. He chose to be a loser on a sinking ship. SAY NO TO DOAN |

So assuming Desi goes on waivers and we could sign a player up to 2 mil AAV? so with retention that could be up to 4 mil. What 3/4 line centers that are left out there?
We could also send down Kero I think and add a little more. |

Late to the party but nice deal by Bowman....Especially if Oduya can still kill penalties.
Hawks didn't give much up as well. |

Ott isn't playing tonight so may be on the move. Weekend on NHL Network saying MTL is going after Ott. |
|
|

Team-first guy.
Love to have him on your side; hate to play against him. He's a guy that would be incredibly motivated in May. This is his last ride. - TommyHawk
Doan is a cheap-shotting, born loser. Those are the only 2 constants in his career, cheap shots and losing. Would be a subtraction by addition for any team that trades for him at this point.

(frank) Doan. Probably the last guy in the league I want to see win a cup. - Feds91Stammer
He has had his chance to get moved to a contender , if we going to add someone so they have a chance to win a cup I would take Ignila. ....or Mcdavid |

@ChrisHine
Looking at the roster math ... someone's gotta go when Hjalmarsson is ready to return. Tootoo or Desjardins to waivers possibly?
BUT -- @BrianHedger
@ChristopherHine Thought the 23-man roster went away after the deadline ... as long as you stay under the cap? - Marlowe
Maybe Desjardins with Pokka for a bottom 6 physical winger, picks or mid range prospect. Sounds like Pokka has some value but is buried and needs a fresh start while Desi is the odd man out. Can't see either player back next year. |

Kero has really improved lately at the dot and looks like he might be that guy, but I'm not sure it will last through the playoffs...
Might have to take our chances with a bottom 6 that looks like this:
Hartman-Kero-Hossa
Desjardins/Jurco-Kruger-Jurco/Hinostroza
Still not bad. But I REALLY want one more piece. |

Fortin had a hat trick tonight. - EbonyRaptor
Too many injuries for Green over the course of his career but you're right Shattenkirk is a good compare. In fact, I think Green would prove to be the better player if he was playing with a team like Edmonton. |

Great call JJ on the Odyua trade in the past couple days and this AM. Also great call on the Hawk PR machine on not doing anything and making sure they don't overpay for rentals. |

I actually think we need a winger more than a center. Kero is looking better and better every game. He's already taking on important PK responsibilities and he's on the ice at the end of the game when the opposing team pulls their goalie. Q clearly trusts him, and he's got a much better offensive game than Kruger does (though that's not saying much).
STP
PAK
Jurco - Kero - Demi-God
_____ - Kruger - Hartman
Keith - Seabs
Hammer - Oduya
Campbell - Kempny/TvR
Rozy
Crow
Scotty
And this team is ready for war.

Preds are playing well - down 4-2 in the 3rd and come back to win it 5-4 in OT. |
