He was overrated in juniors. Has terrible possession numbers. Just overall a very limited player. Really looking at things everyone from his junior team pretty much sucks now. - Feds91Stammer
And that's why he isn't playing much and the best offer Dorion has is a 2nd round pick. |

I've never had them but I do see they have a spot down near my parents. Have to keep that in mind next time I visit. I have a hole in the wall bar that has amazing wings here in Tampa. They make their own sauces and I always get them to combine them to make a hot honey garlic parm. They are so damn good. |

Yeah actually now that I dig deeper they were a good team because they had 2 very good goalies (Jarry and Brossoit) and the rest of the team ended up a bit overrated because of them. |

Honestly I don't know if I would trade him for anything less than Debrincat and 2018 1st. (possibly even more) - Feds91Stammer
Why is he so misused in Detroit?
With them obviously not making the playoffs and in selling mode doesn't it make sense to give the kids more ice time? He's obviously a pretty talented player with unbelievable wheels.
Also, how bad is Green defensively? He's offense-first which we all know but is he a horrid defender? $6 mil for this and next season is obviously steep for any team but if Detroit was willing to eat 33% of that salary any contending team would pay a nice price for him. |

Trade you a 2nd rd pick+Fortin and some Giordanos pizza for AA - Dabearshawks

Because Blashill is an idiot. Green is actually very good defensively. He retrieves pucks quickly and is a very efficient puck mover. Thing is if DET retains on Green it will be a hell of a return. He isn't all that much different than Shattenkirk. |

Also good stuff JJ on essentially being the first to report that there was traction between Oduya to the 'Hawks. Well done sir.
I DO think the team upgrades the bottom-six somehow tomorrow (like they did when they traded Ben Smith for Desjardins).
I may be in the minority but I think Doan would look DAMN good on that fourth line (salary retained of course). |

(frank) Doan. Probably the last guy in the league I want to see win a cup. |

I would agree if we are talking at 5v5 but at this point of their careers Shattenkirk is better on the PP. |

Team-first guy.
Love to have him on your side; hate to play against him. He's a guy that would be incredibly motivated in May. This is his last ride. |

Yes Ott wins face-offs and is an agitator but his play fell off a cliff since leaving Buffalo. |
