Especially since TVR didn't go the other way
2-7
4-27
51-57
or some permutation of that looks mighty fine - cnfan261311
I think Kempny plays before either Campbell or TvR.
2-7
27-4
6-51/57

The salary cap just got tighter next year thanks to all the bonus the Hawks will no have to carry forward. Not sure I like this. - hawkeytown
Hey hawkey.....what's JO's bonus structure? Assuming you're referring to his. |

That hasn't been the case so far, so not sure about that. Has he earned his way back into a regular role? Not really offering my opinion, but Q has been quick to bench #6 and 51/57 have played a lot. |

Yeah I see all that.. but a vet d man is better than no vet d man, especially if he's familiar with Q's system.
Also, only a minus 2 playing top pairing for DALLAS is a miracle.
Anything to keep Rozy from playing every night. You know it could come to that. Rookie mistakes are so costly for defensemen. (See Jonas Gustaffson, last spring) - kinigitt
You think he was a "top pairing" defender on Dallas? Klingman 23 min, Lindell 21 min, Hamhuis 19 min, Jordie Benn 18:37min, Oduya 18:10 min, Johns 18:08min.

Yep, he is a 4/5D |

LBR, we need a deeeeeep fancy stat evaluation on Johnny O. - Mr Ricochet
Except there's a world of difference between Dallas' d-system (or lack thereof) and what JO will be playing with the Hawks.

Also think that those guys had to adjust for Oduya being injured for forty games by picking up his minutes/responsibilities |

I don't know much, but I know damn well Johnny Oduya is a better option than last year's #4-7 d-men heading into the playoffs.
BTW, not saying I hope that Stan's done. |

If the D are healthy, the Hawks can spread the minutes around a lot more than 2015 at least. |

or maybe the idiots in DAL should have been playing him more and they wouldn't be abysmal? |

Exactly. Looks a lot better than Cumiskey, Rundblad, Kimmo, and one armed one legged TVR. |

It's just my guess based on Kempny playing better lately and having a bigger upside than the physically limited TvR and the aging Campbell.

18:00 mins is 18:00 mins too. I'm happy with that especially for what was given up and given the depth and options on the back end now. |

Stan Bowman has made two solid additions in a week and still has his 1st and 2nd RD picks which he wants to keep.
Maybe its because I just don't like him but LeBrun seems like such a smug bastard.
