If there was any doubt at all I don't think we would have gotten any sort of time frame whatsoever.

It would have been something more along the lines of "He's coming along nicely, we're hoping to eventually get him back at some point, still not sure, week-to-week". Just my opinion.

That's about 18 words more than the Hawks and Q use - it is rarely more than "He's fine" or "He"ll be out awhile."

Remember when Rozsival went on IR 2 or 3 weeks ago and then all of a sudden he's out there playing against Arizona. Not much medical info comes from the Blackhawks and when I hear any I file it in the BS folder.

Big trades at the Deadline VERY rarely ever work out for a team due to the short amount of time a player has to acclimate with his new team. Guys who are added to a team and are not expected to be THE difference maker end up being the better deals.

From our perspective, I'm sure the Hawks would love to make a big splash to keep with with Minny, but they don't wanna mortgage too much of the future for a possible upgrade down the stretch.

To me, all we're gonna get a small move for a Depth D-Man and a Center with a good rep for taking FO's and that'll be it.

The Sabres in general will be involved in rumors right up to the deadline tomorrow, as Dmitry Kulikov and Cody Franson are two of the most talked about names left among defensemen.
