The Rangers couldn't afford to have Shattenirk within the division. He is now, on team that was already really good. Really good with a somewhat slumping Ovechkin. Ignoring data is fine. The Rangers are 2-0 vs the Caps this year, hopefully that trend continues tomorrow.

Although personally Id think the pens would beat them in 7 and after owning Washington for years eventually they'd have to lose once like last year against pitt. RIght?

Agreed, seeing what Washington paid, only plausible factor is Armstrong wanted way more from NY. Because if not, Gorton should have paid that cost. Heck, Boo Nieves may be = or > than Zack Sanford.

Hey we all want to win bottom line some of us are more crazy after loss then others but we all root for same team. Im still pissed we didnt get him and more so that he went to Caps but tomorrow is another day and it will hopefully make Caps choke job in playoffs even sweeter.
