Leafs have 3 elite level nhl rookies + 2 pretty strong rookies + a handful of ahl prospects and junior aged prospects and we worrying about a 2nd rounder (that is what the going rate is)

Last time I checked, Brooks Laich was not 6'6" and did not score 13 goals on an offensively challenged team in 54 games. Boyle is as good a pick up we could make with one of 3 second rounders we have in this year's draft. If you are looking for an overpay - talk about Hanzal with three goals more and a -15 for a first rounder.
