I would be shocked if the Avs and Islanders didn't hook up with one of these 2 guys on a real blockbuster. The Isles are loaded with great prospects. Dal Colle, Barzal, HoSang, Pulock,Devon Toews, Bellows kid. A first round pick which I would imagine is in play and will probably fall somewhere between 8-14. Good young NHL players who could be made available. And a desperate GM that needs to make a splash I wouldn't be shocked if the Islanders overpaid for one of these guys

I dont think Landeskog is their first choice of the guy to move. Hes signed longer, younger and is one of the only Top line wingers they have.

If they do that they're dumb. Eberle and Okposo are very similar, they should have just re-signed him if they wanted a $6M RW that scores around 60ish points ever year.

I'd take him if EDM GM goes "full Chiarelli" and trades him for crap, but otherwise no thanks.
