Man I would laugh if Calgary offered Hunter Shinkaruk back to us.

Regarding sitting out Miller and Hansen tonight...

Jeff Paterson - I asked WD that yesterday. He said then he was under no restrictions from management. But added things could change.

OK .... I get this now: I was misreading it.....

San Jose 2017 picks:

Round 1
Round 2 - Traded to Toronto
Round 3 - Get an extra from Detroit, traded then to Phoenix
Round 3
Round 4
Round 5
Round 6 - Extra Pick from Coyotes
Round 6 - Extra Pick from Avalanche
Round 6
Round 7 - Extra from Black Hawks
Round 7 - Extra from Senators
Round 7

So they could package a few picks for Miller and not be worse for wear

Am I the only one that doesn't understand why San Jose would be interested in trading for Miller?

Insurance, beyond their current starter they have pretty much nothing.

If Calgary is serious, bet you John Weisbrod pushes to get his infamous first round pick, 'the Janitor' (Jankowski) back

No, no you are not.

Other then being a cheap insurance policy, i don't really see it.

That would be my take. The Bishop deal seems to have lowered the costs, a couple late round picks (of which they have a surplus) is a good price for insurance should something happen to Jones

I guess that makes sense... Although their backup Dell has been really solid in his 12 games so far (.934; 1.95)

meh, they realize they have an aging core and aren't making the playoffs. Seems like the proper thing to do IMO

You gotta laugh at the folks who paid 20 bucks to see the site crash every year at the TDL & free agency.

Hansen says no to the Habs.

Maybe he doesn't like crabs
