So Tanev for like a 20-25th pick

People realize we essentially drafted his clone 5th overall right?
The guy still has 6-7 years left of top 4 hockey in him....

Not worth bothering thats right.
Top prospect minimum starts the talking.
Pens nothing much but Sergachev or Juulsen from the Habs.
Slim chance that happens so other suitors maybe AV's Jets NYR etc?

I can't imagine I would ban very many people. It would only be for the most extreme things. Plus, when things get hysterical around here at the critical times like TDL, Draft etc... I typically take time off until it calms down. That wouldn't work too well here...

If washington doesn't make it to the finals with that roster.

JB stuck to his guns he made a trade for value that was worth it. So guess people will relax a bit now a deal was done. Especially for Burrows. He signed a 2 year contract so that shows Sens want to protect him I guess At the very least they saw more then just rental. It's amazing how the real market values players over the tired labels thrown around. Now this Dalen prospect will get the Swede razing so hopefully he rises above that. Then later expectations that don't get out of hand and folds him like JV.

This is funny. Lefty, who keeps praising Toronto for their "text book" rebuild ignores that Toronto has traded away a 1st and a 2nd for vets to win now inside of the last 8 months.

"At least the Leafs don't trade away their picks" he said not too long ago.

"At least they don't take short cuts"

Their cupboards are pretty bare outside of their NHL roster as well.

Keep repeating what the Toronto media has sold you Lefty. Keeping picks and no short cuts in Toronto are "alternate facts".... meanwhile, Canucks have kept their 1st round picks and haven't traded for players closer to 30 or over... trading for 22/23 year olds...

Keep drinking the Kool Aid.

Anyone not playing college and waiver exempt should be in the AHL for call ups at least. Haven't groomed anyone like that in quite some time. Hopefully JB gets that going soon with some of the other prospects.

If WASH in going all in this year, Hansen for one of their top prospects could make for an interesting return. For example: Bowey

Im hoping we can land another college free agent as well. I dont think there is any home runs but even another depth guy who has 3rd line potential is would be nice. Probably only 3-4 guys worth signing from what it sounds like.

Didn't like the trade today for a 19 year old. We need to pick the player ourselves or do what Toronto does and trade it away for a vet and call it something else.
