This joke of a DOPS is ridiculous! Bring back fighting and an enforcer who can play enough to justify his roster spot. Principles don't change, ideas do, and the NHL has these stupid ideas that they're going to grow the base w casual fans who don't understand the game. It's simple. You go after my teammate, I kick your ass, or your best players' ass if you don't show up. There is a price to pay. If that's true, that's a great move by the Lightning. Boyle is one of the better 4Cs out there, but he is a 32 year old rental. Toronto, let's be real, isn't going anywhere. They might not even make the playoffs. Kapanen is a very good prospect, and he's destroying the AHL at age 20. So either Toronto is down on him for some reason, or this was just a dumb move. This is the very type of thing Hextall would not do.
