45.8% for Moose.
53.0% for Boyle.
Boyle/Oduya are the targets now. - Assman22
Fills in the gaps if we can land them. Boyle at 2 mill and JO making 3.75. How do you make that money work? |

Devils holding D Kyle Quincey out of tonight’s lineup, John Moore in. No trade yet but being held out just in case. - walleyeb1
Think I'd rather have John Moore, but honestly don't know how he's been doing the past few years.
Really hope Stan doesn't go after Quincey |

Honestly I don't think he's going anywhere, if he does the Blues are shooting themselves in the foot, unless it's for someone like Duchene, but if its a payroll dump then my money says the team will tank. - BetweenTheDots
How are they shooting themselves in the foot? He's UFA after this season. If they move him now, they get something, If they don't, he walks. He already turned down an extension. They are shooting themselves in the foot if they DON'T move him. |

Didn't that guy get hated out of Detroit? - cnfan261311
No he just sucked due to bone spurs in his ankle and had surgery on at least one occasion. Can't skate at an NHL level anymore imo.
The way they acquired him was bad too but that is more hate on Holland. |

I dont. Kempny is starting to turn the corner and brings a more complete game. Not only that, he likes to throw the shoulder. |

Paired with TVR....probably
I'd feel more comfy with Campbell with TVR than Kempny/TVR...based on the experience factor
I don't think Campbell is a bad #5 at all |

Yeah they get an early exit out of the playoffs, don't believe in giving up an asset for future assets that won't help you in the playoffs this year. |

Is Shalunov the missing big center who can win faceoffs? Probably not, but ...
Shalunov took 786 faceoffs in the KHL this season (in 49 games - ~16 per game) and his winning percentage was 49.4%. I don't have the breakdown of PK faceoffs, but usually a players faceoff percentage is worse on PK than overall, so ...
But, who knows. |

Hey JJ. I know you said the Hawks are looking at Odyua coming back from the Stars, but what other defenseman they rumored to have their eye on? Any other names that you can release? - spudrock512

Send $$ back in one or both of the deals or retained salary. I think landing both is unlikely. Hawks won't trade that many assets necessary. |

I don't disagree the Hawks could use a player....But not as a faceoff option. When Moose plays....And if the playoffs started tomorrow he would be in the lineup-He takes almost all the faceoffs when on the ice with Kruger. |

Experience is a comb nature gives us after we have gone bald. pair Campbell's experience with Kempny's body, you'd have a pretty damn good, mobile defenseman.
I kind of agree with Shart, err toward experience, but I thought Kempny had a nice game last night and he is cutting down the mistakes.

Boyle from Tampa??
If so, that'd be awesome--big, physical Forward.
I think the Hawks tried getting him when he was leaving NY. |

I have to think they do not feel Max can help this year. I say that because you could have started talking to him a week ago and have not. and if start on Thursday this week. and agree (SIBIR would as well) it would take a few days at a Min and wouldn't he need some type of Visa or something that would take a week? IE it would seem Like a 2 week process. Maybe MAX does not want to come if we get another C/W. IE if we get Boyle (hypothetically) that would bounce both moose and Desi out of the lineup. Who would Max bounce out? Kero would be the next weakest link I guess or Jurco? |

The issue is if Q doesn't trust anyone but the top 3 to kill penalties in crunch time.
That's could lead to a fatigue issue in the playoffs.

2014 kings had kopitar carter richards stoll down middle. the first two being all star players.
koivu staal hanzal don't exactly exude all star calibre talent. just guys.
hawks be just fine coming out of the central with what they have. |

Rasmussen is 45.8%, and he doesn't have the wheels to cover like Kruger can. I just don't think he's an answer at 3C for the playoffs, other than limited 4th line minutes/depth.
Kero is game and improving and might be more of an answer because he can skate and has defensive instincts. I question whether he has the experience and temperament for the job though. Who is the secondary FO option on the PP? Ibelieve right now it's AA. I don't think that's sustainable or smart in the playoffs either. This is where you miss a healthy Kruger.
It also begs the question, why were they interested in Hanzal (they were, I mean go back and read Hedger's interview with him—everyone knew it)? I don't think it was to play W. |
