froese is a 25 year old AHL player, I don't think that's a ton. I think its a good deal for TOR more so then Tampa.

Me too. Feel MN did well not to give up one of their top 10 prospects with a pick. Giving up a low 1st, a low 2nd and a conditional is solid for MN IMO..........

Not as good defensively...at least as the old JO anyway. Not sure how good he's (J.O.) been this year.

I'm not sure what Smith gives us over what we currently have, unless you're just looking for depth if Hammer's hurt.

Burrows got Dahlen, a 2016 2nd-round pick, who is a point-per-game player for Timra IK in Sweden's second division as a 19-year-old from the sens.

I fear we about to make a massive overpay if we're suddenly talking RNH, Giroux and Duschene..

If Hammer is injured, or if the the concensus is that Rozy, TVR, Soupy and Kempny can't hold down 4-7D in the playoffs... I can see a good case for a solid 3-4D but it can't be a rental. Its just not worth it for a rental.

I DO believe they went into the deadline hoping to avoid anything that felt like an overpay and that might limit anything "big." Because the TDL is a sellers market.

Respectfully, I'm assuming this won't end in this blog for a very long time so I have a question. Of the 21k at the UC how many do you think even knows there is a TDL and those who do how many care? Meaning when StanBowPops&McD (who have a very friendly gagle of reporters as you have mentioned) lie and say we've pursued Jurco for 6 weeks who is their intended audience?

If it's Hawk fans not many pay attention to that and aren't going to cancel their season tix if no move is made or cancel their Kaner jersey they ordered if they do pay attention. And if it's other GM's you don't believe they believe StanBows spin or any other GM's spin do you?

So who would you guess is StanBows intended audience when he says we like our team or we were after player A and got him, in this case Jurco?

Dunno if this is STILL the case but I was told a few weeks ago when I broke the Hawks interest in Duchene . . .

For some reason, Sakic was more open to moving Duchene, and more inclined to keep Landeskog and retool around him. FWIW.
