Can't believe that Oscar (frank)-up last night

Last night was just like the last time the Jackets came into the Garden. Except the Rangers scored early on, and it still didn't matter. Everybody was terrible last night. Some more so than others. The 3rd line was invisible, Stepan stunk, Staal-Holden pair was a dumpster fire, Lundqvist needed to be better. Just an overall terrible game.

Hot-take: Skjei-Clendening has been the teams best pair the past 3 games, from both the eye test as well as stats. The only other defenseman on the Rangers who can make an outlet pass like the one Clendo made to Nash for the early breakaway against CBJ is McDonagh, maybe Skjei. He needs to play regularly.

That is the best booster shot this team could get. I think Gorton will do something significant. This is the best team we've had to enter playoffs since 2014-15 season.

It doesn't sound like P.A. Parenteau's absence from the #NJDevils skate this morning is related to a trade. Stand down.

That is the best booster shot this team could get. I think Gorton will do something significant. This is the best team we've had to enter playoffs since 2014-15 season.

We were always going to be the finalist for SHattenkirk. What unnerves me is the fact that he is making it known that its the Rangers or nothing. When this happens and Rangers are trying to make a deal its no longer considered a rental player deal. So now the Blues will want a huge return than what they would get if he was just a rental.
