well it came down to Nashville and Minnesota and it looks like Minnesota got him (according to McKenzie and TSN) This is interesting because the Canadiens were NOT in on Hanzal and yet I know they are going to upgrade on offense...Might mean Duchene trade looking better...working on that now..

Ek I watched your FB video on the Flyers. You mention Flyer trade chips. I think putting Simmonds out there could be the way to kick start this rebuild to get blue chip young forward talent in here. Simmonds could net them so much with the cheap deal that he's on, the bidding war would be insane. Plus organizationally they are deep at RW especially if you move Schenn there where he's most comfortable.

Lindblom is going to come in next year and he is fantastic in and around the net. He's not talked about enough.
