With Quick back I simply just dont understand this trade. If we knew Quick was done for the year. I could understand it. But even then. Me as a Kings fan. I was opt'ing for a retool the roster type end of year and off season.

It's a fairly low risk/high reward trade though, it's a bit of a stretch expecting much from them squeaking into the playoffs but if they get hot at the right time anything can happen, 2012 style

Ek I watched your FB video on the Flyers. You mention Flyer trade chips. I think putting Simmonds out there could be the way to kick start this rebuild to get blue chip young forward talent in here. Simmonds could net them so much with the cheap deal that he's on, the bidding war would be insane. Plus organizationally they are deep at RW especially if you move Schenn there where he's most comfortable.

Lindblom is going to come in next year and he is fantastic in and around the net. He's not talked about enough.
