For the record I don't think Boyle is very good but many people do like him.

It's that 6'7" frame that people are infatuated about.

He's got a good shot, contributes solid offense for a bottom-six player, and is responsible defensively (on top of being already good at the dot).

He's obviously a solid player, but if he wasn't 6'7" I don't think he'd warrant as much attention. He definitely won't come cheap though. I could see a team like Minnesota overpaying for him by Wednesday.

You summed him up pretty good. It's why I would hate to see him go, if we can retain him at a discount.

He's pretty good parked in front of the crease also. That lumbering frame blocks a lot of sight angles.

Bish and ick for Cernak, Budaj, and pick is what I'm seeing from the Twittersphere. Waiting on the pick announcement and confirmation. Happy to see we were able to move him for something and don't know a lot about Cernak but happy to see a RHD coming our way that doesn't cost $6M/yr
