100% agreed. But I think he he Pierre wind quote was that the wind in the back was effecting them negatively. As if skating by into the wind is easier.

Roenicks banter about the lady is n to he Pens jersey married to the Flyers fan was compelling journalism as well.

So with back to backs on Tuesday and Wednesday, does MAF get Tuesday's game? If they're intent on trading him, do you let him play and possibly get injured?

If he plays on Tuesday, I bet there's nothing brewing on a trade.

This Bishop trade really opens the door for a Fleury deal. The top goalie available went to a team that didnt need a goalie....interesting dynamic shaping up.

Recent cup champs lingo. Against the code to teach any 'non' champs in the recent era the dialogue.

Sorry brother, but you'll have to win 1 to get in the 'circle of the Stanley'!

Did I read it on here or NHL.com, Flower is staying until before the expansion draft. They will trade him after the season. Not sure how, & who are we putting up as a goalie (maybe Craig Adams makes a comeback as a goalie??)?

It's such an interesting dilemma. Do you keep him as a backup or do you deal with it after the season?

As somebody mentioned yesterday.... We need a goalie that meets the criteria for the expansion draft.

Exactly what I said....all the potential goalie suitors we've discussed are still in play as the Kings were out of left field. To me, if any team wants a goalie, Fleury is the top choice available now.

Depends on the situation... some teams may covet Halak as he is a rental. Fleury isnt a bad choice if teams have the space for 2 years.

Bishop moving is great news for the Pens if they are looking to move Fleury. Especially if the Pens are close to a deal with a team like St Louis or Calgary. Both are just ahead of the Kings in the standings. If they don't bolster goaltending and the Kings come back and knock them out of a playoff spot, the GM could end up losing their job.

The value in trading for Fleury is two fold. He is a true #1 goalie and he is a great team guy who can help mentor a teams young goalie and teach them how to be a great pro. That matters to teams.

The Jets and Flames stand out to me in this regard. Good young teams that could use a true veteran #1 goalie.

St Louis possibly if the Pens really are chasing after Shattenkirk.

Carolina, Ottawa and Dallas seem like long shots.

For anyone thinking that Duchene or Landeskog were a possibility, I would forget that after what Hanzal fetched.

I immediately thought the same thing. That was lunacy what they paid for a 3rd line center.... 16g and 10a. Yikes. I understand what why the Wild did that, but that really screws the market.
